LIME REALTY GROUP wanted to talk about Excessive Heat warnings today.  So we’re a month into summer and we’ve already had excessive heat warnings for the area.  We’ve still got two more months to go and it’s time to watch out everyone.

Excessive Heat warnings are issued when the temperature is going to be in excess of 105 degrees for more than a full day.  Continuous heat is the reason for these warnings in our area.  They are issued in other places for other reasons such as high humidity.

These temperatures are dangerous because prolonged exposure could result in any one of a number of problems including heat stroke, heat exhaustion and heart attacks.  We can’t stress enough the need to drink plenty of fluids and stay out of the hottest parts of day.  Make sure you’re indoors and away from the heat.

Be careful out there and try to enjoy your summer!
