LIME REALTY GROUP is associated with many different local business’.  One of them is Terra Title and we recently received a copy of their current newsletter.  It was full of interesting information and we wanted to share it with you here.

If you don’t want to download and read the newsletter, let me point out some of the things we found interesting about it.

First of all, most of the information included in the newsletter are articles compiled from the St. George local area newspaper, the Spectrum.  The first article talks about investment properties being sold in Southern Utah is on the increase.  This means investors are coming back to the area and real estate investment will encourage value growth.  

The second article talks about St. George’s ranking in the national growth rates.  At one point in the 90’s we were #1.  Right now, we’re not, but we are the 5th fastest growing metro area in the U.S.  All of the new residents will increase the population another 50,000 people by 2020.  The county is continuing to upgrade water treatment facilities to help sustain this growth.

There’s an article about our area being ranked by the League of American Bicyclists, but I’m more interested in the final article.  The cost of living in St. George was 91.8% of the national average in the first quarter of 2015.  That’s an actual decrease from the 93.8% in 2014.  Cedar City is down around 88%.  The best part of this report is that housing is actually down to 86.6 % in Southern Utah after spiking well above 90% last year.  Affordable living costs for housing, utilities, transportation and groceries continue to attract business investment and new residents.

The market continues to strengthen and make progress.  And Southern Utah continues to grow and improve.  This is one of the hottest markets in the country and Lime realty is the best choice for real estate in the area.  Make the right choice today and call Lime.
