The interactive map on the site will allow you to determine the status of your neighborhood and what restrictions may or may not apply. As a rule of thumb, the city has this basic guideline for you to consider:
No fireworks of any kind are to be used within 250 ft. of the following areas – Dry washes and drainages, river and stream corridors, hillsides, pleateaus and mesa tops, undeveloped open space or natural terrain.
The page also includes safety tips for the use of fireworks. Take some time to read over these tips and familiarize yourself with them. It’s better to be safe than sorry.
