Many markets in the United States are becoming difficult for residents to buy in. The story of the couple in San Francisco demonstrates the extreme degree to which this can happen. Anywhere else in the country; including St. George, their budget would buy them a huge nice home! But in their city, they can’t even buy a nice apartment.
St. George is a great city for a number of reasons. First and foremost, it’s great because unlike many other areas in the country, we aren’t pricing our residents out of the market. At least not yet. There are still many opportunities for affordable housing and many builders who are trying to offer homes people can buy for reasonable prices.
There’s a trend in home buying all over the country. Investors both foreign and domestic buying up properties with cash sales. It’s a trend we aren’t seeing to the same degree around Southern Utah. We do have investors who are buying properties to use as rentals. But for the most part, many buyers are living in the homes they’re buying.
There are many agents in the area, but Renae Stucki understands the effects of national trends and how they impact our area. Call today and let her help you discover the best values in St. George!
