LIME REALTY GROUP wants to give you some tips on staging a home for sale and keep the cost down.

It’s true that staging a home increases its value on the open market, but the whole process can be expensive.  If professional staging isn’t in your budget, never fear because it’s entirely possible to do some DIY staging that won’t break your bank and here’s some of our suggestions to help you do exactly that!

#3 – 1 Quart Of Paint Goes A Long Way.  It’s true that neutral paint is the best way to sell a home.  You don’t want anything too drastic or harsh.  Neutral tones on a wall allow buyers to imagine their own color schemes without being overwhelmed.  However, the right dab of color can work wonders!

If you have a wall with features that set it apart in a space, like a bay window or a fireplace, an accent wall can draw the eye and focus attention on these selling features in a dramatic way!  It’s still important to keep your color selection toned down.  You don’t want to go crazy and choose a color that drags all of the attention to one spot.  You want to choose a color that draws the eye, but still compliments the larger space.

Painting one accent wall is cheaper than painting everything and usually costs around $15 a quart.  So save money and make sure those selling features get highlighted as much as possible!
