In fact, we were so tied up in the story, we started following another podcast so we could continue hearing the story. Undisclosed became our new regular podcast listen, but this morning, we discovered something truly exciting…
Serial had posted a new episode.
That means, the podcast has developed another story and is ready for a second season. We’ve already downloaded the episode and are waiting to hear it. It could be more exciting than the last season… More exciting or a complete let down. But no matter what it turns out to be, it’s still one of the most highly anticipated podcasts of the year.

This year Serial tackles the story of Bowe Bergdahl. He’s an American soldier who deserted his post in Afghanistan and was captured by the Taliban. He survived five years as a captive of the Taliban until a deal struck by President Obama resulted in him being returned to US custody.
Is he a hero or a deserter? As of yet, military court hasn’t made a determination. And Bergdahl isn’t talking. Serial releases never before heard taped conversations with Bergdahl as he tells his side of the story and investigates his reasons for walking alone out into enemy territory. It all starts one night in an open desert.
