In a recent blog entry, we discussed problematic lenders and some of the difficulties we’ve encountered with clients who have more complex finances. I sat down with one of these clients and talked about their recent buying experience and how Renae was able to help them.
Basically, Mr. Nickols was in the process of buying a home and the builder was using a preferred lender. He had a rather complex portfolio as he was part owner in a number of ventures and was tied up in quite a few investments.
The lender preferred by the builder made little to no progress on his loan. He kept asking questions and whenever Mr. Nickols would check on the status, there was little happening.
According to him, he felt the broker took one look at his complicated paperwork and simply felt like it was too much work. And so the heels continued to drag.
Finally, Mr. Nickols turned to his agent, Renae Stucki. Renae looked through his paperwork and agreed it was complicated but not outrageous. She contacted one of her partners with Veritas Lending and they took the loan over. In a matter of days, after weeks of waiting, Veritas was able to finalize the paperwork and secure the loan.
